I guess the symbolism in my book would be the evil ring that was made from Sauron. This ring would probably symbolize how fragile the concept of good and evil might be. Since this ring was generally evil, the good guys would have to destroy it so that the greater evil would not possess it, making them stronger. Rings are generally fragile, however the only way to destroy this ring was in the location of where it, generally was forged. So i guess the ring would also symbolize the quote "The only way to defeat a problem is to attack the source".

Wow, Michael, i like your symbol. The lord of the Ring is a very good book and I have to agree with your post. The ring is fragile in life but in the movie it's invincible.
Hmm... Attack the source... that was very very well described. I'm very impressed Mike. I liked that quote alot. Defeat a problem by attacking its source. Very true, Very true.
i totally agree with you....on the other hand the ring could represent something religious...but youre intake was excellent...the ring of greed!!...awesome
Hey I agree that the ring was indeed very fragile, and that it could symbolize that. I also agree with Anthony, it could also represent something religious. The third movie was just showing, and it seemed that you were right. In order to destroy the ring they needed to throw it into the fire in which it was forged. Great job, keep it up
