This book is really getting exciting. So far im at the part where a kid named Matt who has been created as a clone of his "father", meets 3 naturally born humans. He feels really scared but yet curious at the same time. The kids had accidentally stumbled upon Matt's house and saw him on the inside. Since Celia, the girl who was caring for him at the time, had locked the door and the windows shut, Matt had to break the window in order to meet the people/kids. Once he did, he met the kids and accidentally scratched himself...he had a huge gash on his knee from the glass.
The kids freaking out, took him to a nearby nurse where a little chaos begins. Matt is now being treated as an outcast because the kids' father comes in and says that a clone shouldnt be treated as a human. Therefore, because of this, matt was sent to a "prison" as it were, because he was confined in an extraordinarily small space, feeding not off of human food, but some processessed food.
However, one of the three kids, Maria who was the youngest, came to where he was and started talking to him a lot. They were around the same age and i guess they shared similiar interests. Matt confided in her and she did the same with Matt. Soon they started to enjoy eachother's company and soon they became close friends.
